Silvia España
Bridges Program Director
Silvia España is an alumna of HOLA who first joined HOLA when she was just nine years old at the request of her mother, who wanted to find a place for her to do homework while she was at work. Silvia is the Bridges Middle School and Early High School Program Director and oversees all aspects of academic instruction, mentorship, and enrichment programming for Bridges students. Silvia earned a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and previously served as a Program Supervisor for Ready-Set-Go!, a program for elementary and middle school students in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Silvia has over fourteen years of experience working with elementary and middle school students of diverse backgrounds, especially from immigrant communities, and is excited to witness and be a part of all the changes and growth at HOLA. Outside of work, Silvia enjoys spending time with her family and is an avid runner.
