Secilia Corona

South Central Program Manager

Secilia Corona is the South Central Program Manager who works to oversee the implementation of partnership and programmatic activities in the South Central region. Secilia’s deep understanding of the South Central neighborhoods offers her a perspective that supports her ability to expand community outreach and engagement. Secilia obtained incredible insight as a Juvenile Diversion assistant at Community Service Programs where she saw first-hand the detriment of punitive action against youth facing the juvenile legal system. With this experience, Secilia vowed to put all her efforts into organizations that catch youth as early as possible so that they never have to face the juvenile legal system. She strongly believes in the lifelong impact of positive role models/mentorship as the most effective resource for adolescents with unmet needs. Secilia holds an A.A. in Behavioral Studies from Los Angeles Harbor Community College and a B.A. in Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California at Irvine.
