Savannah Benton
Associate Director of Individual Giving
Savannah Benton has nearly a decade of experience in nonprofit and humanitarian work both at home and abroad. Savannah received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester in International Relations, spending her summers fostering agricultural empowerment in Malawi. Interested in understanding how grassroots collaboration can intersect with existing government aid, she applied to and received the Fulbright Fellowship to Malaysia where she worked with district, student, and community leaders to facilitate a youth empowerment curriculum to be used by the district into the future. Upon returning to her home town Los Angeles she fell in love with HOLA. Savannah became the Scholarship Coordinator in the College and Success Department where she advised students to and through college as well as managing HOLA’s in-house scholarship program.
