Edwin Sánchez Huizar is an Associate at Capital Group Private Client Services, a privately owned wealth management firm backed by the global resources of Capital Group. Prior to Capital Group Private Client Services, Edwin completed Capital Group’s technology rotational program where he rotated through teams across North American Client Group Sales, Equity Trading, and the Investment Group.
Originally from Zacatecas, Mexico, Edwin grew up between his hometown and Los Angeles. He joined Heart of Los Angeles in 2014 as a summer student and became deeply involved in the High School Program through enrichment courses, tutoring, volunteering, and community engagement. Through Heart of LA, he was selected for the Student Diplomacy Corps Program, spending a formative summer in France exploring culture and identity through gastronomy.
Edwin later earned a full scholarship to Bowdoin College, where he studied Mathematics and remained actively connected to Heart of LA by mentoring students and supporting college success initiatives. Grateful for the mentors, community and opportunities Heart of LA provided, Edwin is honored to now serve as a member of its Board of Directors.
