Cheyenne Durocher
Grants Writer
Cheyenne completed her BA in English Literature at California State University at Channel Islands in Ventura County, where she grew up. She began teaching while completing her undergraduate work and would go on to spend 5 years as an early childhood educator, including 1 year spent teaching internationally. Her commitment to decreasing the equity gap in access to education encouraged her return to school; Cheyenne received a Masters of Public Administration with a certificate in Public Policy from USC’s Sol Price School of Public Policy, during which time she also spent a term as a grants writer for an international organization working to build regenerative environmental and economic programs. Her belief in implementing holistic, community-led solutions in response to social injustices brought her to Heart of Los Angeles.
Cheyenne is a part of HOLA’s grants team, where she supports the growth and development of our institutional fundraising efforts.
