Amy is a first-generation Salvadoran American from Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor’s degree in History from California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Growing up, Amy always dreamed of becoming a teacher. On her journey to becoming a teacher, she volunteered at a private school, did an internship as a teacher assistant, at her former high school, and eventually made her way to HOLA. Here at HOLA, she strives to help her students in their academic journey. She believes that if students are given the support and opportunity, they can achieve their goals.
