Ernst & Young, LLP

Ailen Salazar Bravo (she/her) is an HOLA Class of 2017 alumna who joined as a middle school student and remained involved from high school and beyond. She is a Senior Consultant in EY’s People Advisory Services (PAS) practice, where she has first-hand experience supporting leadership and development initiatives, communication efforts, and change transformations at local and global firms. She constantly finds ways to bring her passions and knowledge to help clients navigate short- and long-term changes. Internally, Ailen is also heavily involved in leading a DEI team, Los Angeles’ Ripples Taskforce – Supporting Next Generation Pillar, EY’s signature mentoring program, College MAP (Mentoring for Access and Persistence), and more.

Before joining EY, Ailen worked as a Pro Bono Intern at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP, a DC Intern at Penn Hill Group, an Engaged Ambassador at Cornell’s Center for Community Engagement, and an Executive Team Intern at Ednovate Charter Schools.

Ailen earned two bachelor’s degrees in Sociology and Spanish from Cornell University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also has five minors in Latina/o/x Studies; Latin American Studies; Inequality Studies; Anthropology; and Law and Society, which allows her to explore many issues and communities she is passionate about. Ailen is a mentor to numerous students, and she continues to find ways to volunteer and give back to her communities through mentorship to empower students from historically marginalized communities in their aspirations. As a Board Fellow, she hopes to support HOLA’s growth and help families reach their full potential in themselves, their families, their communities, and the world.
