Soccer

At Heart of LA, our soccer programs go far beyond just the game itself — it's a vehicle for connection, self-expression, and change for our communities.

Our soccer programs bring together individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and walks of life. They create a space for people to connect, work together, and build relationships, helping to bridge social divides and teaching life and character skills. We focus on: unity and inclusion, teamwork and collaboration, physical fitness, and the mental health benefits that come along with playing.

Heart of Los Angeles provides soccer leagues for youth ages 8-18. In the fall, over 250 elementary and middle school aged boys and girls participate in their leagues. In the spring, over 400 high school aged boys and girls have the opportunity to join the leagues.

Throughout the year, Heart of LA hosts soccer clinics for league participants and the public across the city to help students skill build and engage in the sport outside of practice.
