Heart of LA Brings Families Together for a Joyful Celebration of Día del Niño

On May 2, our vibrant Westlake-Koreatown campus came alive with music, dance, and laughter as Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA) proudly celebrated Día del Niño—a cherished tradition in Mexico dedicated to honoring children.

More than just a festive occasion, Día del Niño is a heartfelt reminder of how vital children are to the fabric of our communities. At HOLA, we embrace this spirit every day, and this special event was our way of amplifying that message—through culture, creativity, and community.

Families from across the neighborhood gathered on our central campus, transforming the Pavilion into a stage for celebration. HOLA’s talented student orchestra and bands filled the air with vibrant melodies, while young dancers took the spotlight.

Thank you to all the families, students, and staff who made this unforgettable day possible.
