Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra

The Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra (EIO) unites diverse, multigenerational musicians to make music and expand their musical repertoire.

The EIO has developed an extensive repertoire including classical music from genre-defining composers like Sergei Rachmaninoff and Pyotr Tchaikovsky to iconic film scores like Star Wars and West Side Story. Our orchestra brings these compositions to life on landmark stages throughout Los Angeles and provides everyone a chance to enjoy professional live classical music.

The Eisner Intergenerational Orchestra rehearses every Monday from 7:15pm – 9:15pm.

How to Apply

Age Range: Ages 13 – 80+

Program Dates: Mid-August through Mid-June

Registration Timeline: Ongoing. Spaces available based on instrument.

Requirements:

  • Availability during scheduled rehearsal times.
  • Mid to advanced level of instrumental proficiency.
  • Ability to read sheet music.
