Skip Koenig, President Emeritus, serves on the Development, Governance, Nominating, Strategic Planning and New Site Committees. Skip is a lawyer specializing in the areas of bankruptcy, commercial litigation, creditor-debtor workouts and real estate litigation. Skip is a member of the Financial Lawyers Conference and the Los Angeles Bankruptcy Forum. He is active as Pro Bono Counsel through Bet Tzedek Public Counsel. Skip serves on the Board of Directors of Temple Judea in Tarzana, California and is the congregational representative to Jewish World Watch. He has also served on the Development Committee of Wildwood School, assisting in their capital campaign, and was the vice president of Parents for Carpenter, the fundraising organization for Carpenter Avenue School in Studio City. He graduated from Loyola University Law School and the University of California at Los Angeles. Skip also serves on the advisory board of American Jewish University Nonprofit Management Program and on the Democratic Party’s Jewish Community Leadership Committee for Los Angeles.
