Miriam Gomez is a recent graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she received a degree in Sociology and Legal Studies. While at UC Santa Cruz, Miriam worked as a mentor/tutor to homeless children through the Students in Transition program. After graduating from UC Santa Cruz, Miriam became an intern for Laura Greenlee, the College Counselor at HOLA. Aside from giving academic support to middle school students at HOLA, Miriam is also a mentor in the high school program, working with the seniors as they go through the college application process. When Miriam is not at HOLA, she enjoys watching documentaries and movies, going to the beach, and hiking. She would like to go to graduate school and is currently researching different Masters of Social Work programs
