Laura’s first career was in the film industry. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Film/Communication Arts from Loyola Marymount University she worked as a line producer on such films as Mi Familia, Dogma, Jersey Girl, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Deep End, Clerks II and the recent critically acclaimed A Better Life.
Laura recently received her Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA and she is thrilled to begin her new career in the field of College Access at HOLA. She looks forward to helping HOLA’s college bound students find their place in society via a successful college path. Laura loves to travel and has been fortunate to visit five continents. When she cannot get on a plane, she likes to play tennis, hang with he friends and generally keeping engaged in the culturally diverse and complex offerings available in the City of Angels.
