Daniel S. Floyd

Daniel S. Floyd is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. He is co-chair of the Litigation Department in the Los Angeles office, and has a broad experience, including lead jury trial experience, in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters. He focuses on representing innovative companies in antitrust and securities actions. Dan received his bachelor of arts degree in economics from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he graduated magna cum laude. He received his law degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Pamela Rymer, then of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He serves on the Boalt Hall Alumni Association Board of Directors and on the Executive Advisory Board of Asian Americans Advancing Justice, a pro bono legal organization. He previously served on the HOLA Board from 1993-2001. Dan is a father to two adopted daughters from China. He is also an avid reader.
