Hailing originally from Marion, Iowa and most directly from New York City, Cristina is a recent Los Angeles transplant. She holds a B.A. in anthropology from Grinnell College and M.A.s in anthropology and gender studies from Brandeis University. What started as a childhood love for Indiana Jones branched out in every direction, from museum work in Iowa, fieldwork in London and on Lakota Sioux reservations in South Dakota and LGBT rights advocacy in Boston, all developing her passion for supporting underserved and disenfranchised communities. Cristina has over ten years of experience in development, alumni relations and event planning from a diverse range of education and arts organizations including the Time In Children’s Arts Initiative, ABC No Rio, the Iowa Arts Fest and Grinnell College.
