After earning a B.A. from CSU Northridge, and completing internships at Children’s Hospital (Child Life) and Heart of Los Angeles in the College Success department, Cristina Vasquez is excited to continue making a difference in students’ lives. An HOLA alumna, Cristina started coming to HOLA during her sophomore year of high school, looking for support to apply to college as a Dreamer. At HOLA, Cristina found the constant support and encouragement that she needed as she planned the next couple chapters of her life.
While at California State University, Northridge, she took full advantage of the Health & Human Development curriculum, graduating with a degree in Applied Science Child Adolescent Development and a minor in Psychology. She plans to work towards her Masters in Speech Pathology.
In the meantime, Cristina is excited to be working with the PAT High School department as a coordinator. She’s ready to continue empowering HOLA students to pursue higher education, learn, grow, reflect, and empathize.
