Eisner Intergenerational Wind

The Eisner Intergenerational Wind Ensemble (EIW) is the newest ensemble of The Eisner Intergenerational Music program (EIM), created to offer a more winds-centered ensemble and facilitate the growth of intermediate wind players and percussionists.

Focusing on music specifically arranged to center winds and percussion, the EIW aims to offer a unique challenge for intermediate musicians, no matter their age. The EIW publicly debuted at the 2026 EIM Showcase with a diverse repertoire, ranging from the abstract Swirling Prisms to iconic pieces from Wicked.

The EIW rehearses every Thursday from 7-9PM.

How to Apply

Age Range: Ages 13 – 80+

Program Dates: Mid-August through Mid-June

Registration Timeline: Ongoing based on space availability.

Requirements:

Availability during scheduled rehearsal times.

Intermediate to advanced level of instrumental proficiency.

Ability to sight read sheet music.
