HOLA on YouTube

AADMurad, Inc. and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) are partnering to Shade America. Shade America supports the building of shade structures to provide protection from the sun’s harmful rays in parks and playgrounds across America, with the goal of shading one million children over the next five years. HOLA is featured in the Spring issue of Aspire, the AAD’s quarterly publication in an interview with Hilarie Murad, President of the Murad Family Foundation. When asked about Murad’s role in the program, Hilarie responded:

“We have agreed to donate $125,000 to the program, with the money to be used to build seven public shade structures. The first will be built right here in our own Los Angeles, in Lafayette Park. The groundbreaking is scheduled for May. The nonprofit group Heart of Los Angeles runs many youth programs in the park, which makes the opportunity especially exciting. We’ll be able to benefit local youth and maybe raise a little awareness about the dangers of sun exposure and the importance of sun protection.”
