How long have you been coming to YOLA at HOLA?
I started coming to YOLA 3 years ago.

How did you find out about the program?
My sister was signing up and Ms. Christine saw me hiding behind my mom and asked if I wanted to join too. I was nervous but I said yes.

What’s your favorite thing about coming to YOLA at HOLA?
I like seeing my friends and playing my instrument.

How did you decide to play the viola?
I started playing the violin and then moved to viola. It’s almost the same but one octave lower.

What’s your favorite subject in school?
I like art, especially ceramics.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a musician and an artist.
