HOLA on YouTube

Even though Lady has only been coming to HOLA since the fall, she has quickly become a fixture in the Visual Arts Department. Lady is 16 and a sophomore at Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools and wants to be in the fashion industry when she graduates from college. Her younger brother has been coming to HOLA for a couple of years and when she found out that HOLA offered fashion design classes, she decided to tag along. Now she comes usually four days a week and takes any and all fashion classes the art department offers. She loves the classes because of the freedom they give. “I learn how to do the basics and then the teacher lets me create what I want.”

When not at HOLA, Lady loves to spend time with her family and to learn new things. Her favorite subject is biology and she is excited to begin taking HOLA’s college prep classes next fall.
