Dayenu, 2nd Grader, Violin

How did you discover the violin?
When I first started, we played with paper violins and we didn’t have a bow. We learned a song about the parts of the violin. That’s how I discovered it.

Was the violin your first choice?
No, I wanted to play the clarinet. But when I got my real violin and my bow, I decided to keep playing the violin.

What do you like the most about YOLA at HOLA?
I like to play the violin with my friends and with the orchestra. I also like the friendly teachers, how they take care of us.

Do you practice your instrument at home?
I practice a lot and my parents like how I play the violin. They like how I learn the songs, they encourage me and give me a lot of support. That makes me really happy.
