HOLA on YouTube

At this year’s Community Graduation, HOLA began what we hope will now be an annual tradition – acknowledging HOLA alumni who recently graduated college! As the number of graduates continues to grow, it is HOLA’s goal to present to each graduate a token that celebrates the significance of the accomplishments of the students. This year five HOLA alumni joined the other distinguished guests on the dais. Each alumnus/a wore a graduation robe and had a very special medallions draped around his/her neck. The inscription on the medallions reads “THOSE WHO STRIVE FOR MERIT SHALL ATTAIN SUCCESS.” The students who participated in this year’s celebration include Dustin Barrera (USC), Maria Navarro (Cal State Northridge), Maria Cabrera (Glendale Community College), Ana Baranda (Warren Wilson College) and Leslie Chinchilla (Cal State Northridge). Congratulations to the graduates. We wish you much continued success.
